Autism Accreditation Enhanced Practice Commendation

Oak View School has been awarded Autism Accreditation Enhanced Practice Commendation from the National Autistic Society. This is awarded only to the few services where it is felt that the provision is going above and beyond usual expectations in supporting autistic people, and exceeding the Autism Accreditation
The letter says:
"We would like to congratulate Oak View School on achieving an Autism Accreditation Enhanced Practice Commendation.
The commendation awarding panel considered the school’s commitment to the continual professional development of its staff to be of best practice in providing them with the knowledge and skills set to achieve personalised and positive support for its pupils.
As you may be aware enhanced practice commendations are only awarded to the few services where it is felt that the provision is going above and beyond usual expectations in supporting autistic people, and exceeding the Autism Accreditation criteria in a particular area."
