Multi-schools council

Pupils from Oak View took part in the multi-school council. These MSC are designed to link special and mainstream school. Their aim is to "break down perceptions about children with disabilities and special educational needs. "

See more at: http://www.multischoolscouncil.org.uk/  Oak View is part of the South group of schools.

"The MSC council wants to change perceptions by hosting child lead events that integrate both special schools and mainstream schools. By building these links and connections children become educated about the differences we all have rather than it becoming the topic in the room that nobody wants to talk about."

  • ‘very impressed with the school’s clear sense of purpose in preparing its students for life after school. ’

    ASD report Dec 2017

  • ‘Pupils' relationships with adults are excellent, and they learn respect and appropriate behaviour from the staff. Pupils are accepting of each other’s varying needs, and show pleasure in each other’s successes.’
