Colourful Semantics
Colourful semantics helps children develop their ability to make sentences by using four coloured stages. Pupils start by describing pictures using symbols.
- WHO – Orange
- WHAT DOING – Yellow
- WHAT – Green
- WHERE – Blue
It has been sucessful in Oak View by helping pupils move from singe words to putting words together to create new concepts.
