Physical Skills

Physical skills can take many forms including fine motor skills, balance, exercise and walking. At Oak View we place a lot of importance in using these skills in real-life situations. 

Physicals skills are used throughout the curriculum and in all lessons, for example. practicing fine motor skills. Focused sessions, including PE, Move Programme, swimming, hydrotherapy and sensory integration, are used extensively alongside specific physiotherapy programmes.

The MOVE Programme places movement at the centre of learning, it teaches through routine activities and in real life situations. Click MOVE Programme for more details.
