Autism Hub

Oak View is proud to become the Special School Hub Lead for two schools with enhanced provisions for pupils with autism. These schools, based in Harlow, are Milwards Primary School and Nursery, and Passmores Academy. The Autism Hubs opened on Monday 14 September 2015. The enhanced provision is a Local Authority funded resource for students with a Statement or Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) naming ASD as the primary area of need.

Attention Autism

Claire Moore is a licensed Advanced Practitioner who trains and guides staff in delivering the The Attention Autism Programme.

Licensed Centers benefit from a knowledgeable and confident practitioner who leads Attention Autism programmes, ensuring that staff members have access to Attention Autism training workshops

Attention Autism was developed by Gina Davies, a specialist speech and language therapist.

Attention Autism has been designed to help parents and professionals give their child with autism and social communication difficulties an irresistible invitation to learn using fantastic activities and having a really good time whilst doing so. 

Attention Autism originates from the idea that successful communication is dynamic, engaging and joyful. We learn best when we work with enthusiasm, motivation and creativity. We remember good times and shared experiences.
